How earnings work

Rates are platform defaults and may be multiplied or overridden by your subscription plan.

When a listener tips a creator, the creator keeps 90% and the platform takes 10%.

Live sessions don't pay per-listener yet. Creators earn through tips sent during the session and through chat engagement (likes, comments) on related posts.

• Both listener and creator need an active KYC.
• Both sides need an active subscription plan. Non-subscribers don't earn.
• Your plan can multiply earnings (e.g. Pro = 1.5×) or override specific rates.
• Daily cap: KSh 250 per listener per day (or your plan cap, whichever is lower).
• No self-earn — listening to your own track pays nothing.
• Dedupe — one paid listen per (listener, track, day). Repeats don't double-pay.

• Monetization must be enabled on your plan.
• Each plan has a daily creator earnings cap.
• Boost visibility on tracks (current boost cost: KSh 50), subject to your plan's daily boost limit.

Engagement payouts are funded by the platform earnings pool — they're not deducted from listeners. Tips come directly from the listener's wallet. Paid polls debit voters and credit the creator.
